About us

Phoenix Fire Art LLC is a small business owned by Eric Tolbert. He is a F.I.R.E. Certified Inspector, OSHA-30 Certified, designer, engineer, electrician, metal fabricator, welder and artist. He has taken his skills and blended them together to create beautifully unique, technically sound, practical and safe fire art features. Primarily his work has been used for fireplaces and fire pits but he is not limited to this industry. Besides creating majestic art pieces for direct flame and indirect flame, he has also engineered specialty gas burners, fabricated custom auto engine parts, HVAC sheet metal parts, furniture pieces and other various metal art pieces.

He has also had his work (uncredited) in other various publications that designers and architects have taken pictures of to feature their work. Eric takes safety seriously and rigorously tests every fire art feature/burner to assure the upmost safety before selling or installing the product piece. You can count on his safe measures being a F.I.R.E. Certified Inspector (find a certified inspector H ere near you) for fireplaces, chimneys and gas appliances as well as his lifetime certification with OSHA.

Eric has been an artist from the get go starting in the first grade. He has been a computer programmer, electrician, a production efficiency analyst, graphic designer, welder, gas fitter and many more. A Jack of all trades and a master of many. Eric is still currently doing installations and service in a family run business with his sister for the fireplace industry. His sister, Lisa Eiklor (with Eiklor Flames West) actually pushed him to become an inspector. From there he decided he wanted to do more but not limit himself to one industry, instead utilizing all of his skills to the best of his ability. This is where Phoenix Fire Art comes into play.

The goal of Phoenix Fire Art is to not only create safe, practical, elegant and unique art pieces for fireplaces but to also help engineer and create unique items for other industries as well. Whether you're another small business, auto mechanic, HVAC tech, a person that crafts as a hobby or a larger commercial outfit, Phoenix Fire Art is here to help you create exactly what you need with safety in mind. The major endgame goal is to eventually be able to cater to all industry needs once we have obtained the equipment to do so. For now, Phoenix Fire Art will start out small and work its way up by gradually building its name and cementing itself into the metal fabrication and artistic industries.
